Introducing a Fourth Day to my Weekly Dry-Fasting Pattern

For the past month or so I’ve been fasting on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays. I decided to introduce one extra day. Today is Wednesday and I am not going to break my dry-fast until tomorrow Thursday. The three day weekly fasting has been working great for me. As I often mention it throughout this blog, from what I’ve been experiencing so far, the human body does not seem to like the routine too much. In addition, during the days I am eating I have been eating way too much. While fasting three days a week, Wednesdays and Thursdays have been the only consecutive days during which I have been eating two days in a row. Eating a massive amount of food on two consecutive days has been slowing me down a bit on several occasions. Now I want to see what will happen with me introducing Wednesday as an extra dry-fasting day. If it works well for me, I may keep things this way, or pick a different extra day of the week. Adding Saturdays could be interesting, since it will allow me to dry-fast three consecutive days during the week.

My kidneys have been filtering great lately!

One major health related event worth mentioning, is how much more and more frequently my kidneys have been filtering, since I have completed my nine day dry-fast. It has just been phenomenal! I went from filtering two three times a week to filtering everyday. Often the second time of the day when I go to the bathroom to urinate, this is when my urine is the most charged with cellular waste. I still don’t know if the waste is coming from food that I recently consumed, or if the body is getting rid of nasty cellular material that has been accumulating throughout my entire life. At the very least, psychologically it feels extremely good to get rid of all this cellular waste material. I also still don’t know if it’s a seasonal cleansing that my body may be doing it every year, or if I succeeded in getting to the next level of cleansing on my journey? I am convinced that eliminating that much waste material and cleansing my system is going to pay off big time sooner or later.

No More Coffee For Sure

I also want to mention the fact that it looks like I have quit drinking coffee, probably for good. It has now been over two months that I haven’t consume any coffee, and the couple months prior to quitting I had reduced the consumption of coffee considerably. What amazes me the most about my journey at this point, is that I am able to accomplish way more things, and stay focused longer periods of time on intellectual tasks with less outside stimulants.

They Quit Me

I have started a little series of blogs that I named “They Quit Me”. I’ve already published two of them. “Coffee Quit Me” and “Shampoo Quit Me”. Just by not having these two elements in my life, not only my scalp and overall well being are doing better, but I am saving quite some money.  Which I can invest in more sustainable things for my future  such as books, and locally grown organic food.
